Taking care of the body is an essential part of taking care of the mind, and we offer a range of supports to promote physical health and wellness. Activities like exercise, yoga, meditation, and ice baths effectively reduce stress, anxiety, and depression.

The Ethos community also provides residents with adventure-based activities that promote personal growth and self-discovery. We organize and schedule outdoor expeditions, team-building exercises, and other experiential activities. These outings challenge our residents to step outside their comfort zones and discover new ways of thinking, feeling, and being. These activities can be powerful tools for individuals with mental health issues, allowing them to build resilience, confidence, and self-awareness.

Promoting mental wellness may require an approach that addresses the root causes of an underlying behavioral issue.
